St Brendan's Catholic Secondary School is a Full-Service school offering a service mainly to young learners in the local surrounding communities but also has boarding facilities and provides accommodation for learners from other districts.Being a Full-Service school means that the school also serves physically challenged learners.
The Catholic Church has an agreement with the Department of Basic Education therefore the school is recognised as a Catholic Public school on private property. In this 2022 year, the school has 773 pupils with 31 educators.Also between the school and boarding governing bodies, an additional 33 people are employed.
St Brendan's provides excellent opportunities and outcomes for its students, even achieving outstanding results. It is the top school in the circuit and one of the best schools in the Capricorn District and Limpopo Province.In the current climate of poor discipline and the problems schools are experiencing, St Brendan's still manages to keep a high standard of discipline and parents can be sure that their children are cared for holistically.
Last year the Grade 12 learners obtained a 97.1 % pass rate with 62.62% bachelor passes.The school obtained Position 1 in the Capricorn North District, the Sekgosese Cluster, the Catholic Schools as well as well as the Full-Service Schools.
